Welcome to the Washington County Fraternal Order of Police store. These patches are worn by members of the Charlestown Police Department in hopes to raise awareness and money for charitable organizations.
Proceeds from the sale of this patch will go to the RI Transition Academy. The RI Transition Academy @ Roger Williams University is a unique educational program that provides students with autism and other intellectual disabilities an opportunity to complete their high school education on a college campus and in various community settings. The program provides 18-22 year old students with disabilities an opportunity to develop functional life and employment skills in an age appropriate setting. The program is operated by the East Bay Educational Collaborative, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving our public school communities through training, education and services. The Organization also recently opened the Community Partners Program in Barrington dedicated to providing recreational opportunities to adults with disabilities.

Thirty-nine (39) years later the members of the Charlestown Police Department have re-invested ourselves into the community we serve with public events and fundraisers.
